For my sociology class, titled Race, Class and Gender, my Professor allowed her students extra credit if they presented a topic of their choice and how it related to race, class, and gender. Because I am such a passionate fan of anime and cartoons, I decided to conduct my assignment on three animes’ that relate to these subjects. So as an Education minor, I created my own lesson plan on how anime can be used as a pedagogy tool to teach about race, class, and gender.
