At MAYEC, I am the Education and Outreach Coordinator. My job duties include: pitching community outreach and involvement ideas to the organization, representing MAYEC in our community and connect with local partners, conduct internal workshops for educational development, and lead projects within my Committee.
This summer, my committee partnered with MAYEC’s Public Relations Committee to create a summer educational YouTube series teaching about energy inequity. I led this project and we produced over three videos. Currently, the Education and Outreach Committee has launched another video series called, Energizer Voter Engagement. This project is to encourage voting and to teach our audiences about political candidates environmental platforms.
