In the summer of 2020, I took the class, Adolescent Development. This was a very fun class and I explored different psychology, sociology, and biological factors for adolescents. For my final, I had to create my own teacher plan that incorporated elements of what I had learned throughout the summer. My lesson plan is titled, Reduce, Reuse, & Recycle, the grade level is for a third grade Life Science/Science class. The objective of this lesson is as follows:
- Students will define the terms Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle.
- Student will work in pairs to identify what items can be recycled or thrown away.
- Learners will apply correct recycling and sustainability terminology to generate their own one-page recycling flyer to take home.
